LHC brings decades of experience in geologic research in Florida and neighboring southeastern states to projects. Assessments commonly go hand-in-hand with regulatory consulting. This work includes drilling, coring, and downhole geophysical logging to evaluate:
- Formations and processes linked to groundwater, karst, and geohazards
- Uranium oxide, sand, high-grade silica sand, limestone, titanium, peat, and clay deposits for commercial development
The research may be used to inform public policy, determine quality and commercial viability of deposits, and serve as the foundation for planning to avoid, minimize, and/or mitigate environmental concerns. Companion services include regulatory permitting, mineral assessments, and mineral remoteness research and opinion, and stakeholder involvement.
